I spent the weekend with friends up at Megagh’s (aka Meaghan) cottage, and boy, was it a fun, but sore weekend. Being with friends is always nice, especially after being cooped up in the lab with a bunch of computers all week. But, it’s even better when it’s up at a cottage with plenty of outdoor stuff to do. Brought my camera along, and managed to get some pics.

I don’t consider myself an outdoors person, but I value any chance I get to spend at a friend’s cottage. Nothing’s better than a nice camp fire after a hard day’s spent… well, doing nothing but relaxing. Going for pontoon-boat rides was very relaxing, and for the most parts, the stars made themselves visible, adding to the weekend. Also took my first try at water skiing, and all I have to say is that I’m grateful to have patient friends! I tend to suck at anything aquatic-related (I can barely swim), and it must have taken me 10 tries or more to finally get up on them, but when I did it was a great feeling; now I just need to work on staying up. 😉

We also went for some cliff-jumping, which is an exhilarating experience. I managed not to hurt myself, but this didn’t matter since I was plenty sore from the rest of the weekend. Check out the rest of the photos.
